Bhutan's first luxury heritage hotel, built using traditional construction techniques with an on-site temple consecrated by senior monks. The 45-room property took over six years to construct, employing master artisans to create elaborately carved wooden facades, hand-painted murals, and stonework reflecting dzong architecture. Facilities include the Tshering Ma spa, a traditional hot-stone bath house, and an acclaimed restaurant serving Bhutanese and continental cuisine. Zhiwa Ling translates to "Place of Peace" and the hotel has won multiple international heritage and design awards.
