Zhemgang Higher Secondary School

The main higher secondary school in Zhemgang, one of Bhutan's most remote and least developed districts in south-central Bhutan. Serving students from classes IX to XII, the school plays a critical role in providing secondary education access to communities that historically had to travel to other districts for schooling. Despite the challenges of its remote location, the school has steadily improved its academic outcomes and infrastructure with government investment.
