Zhemgang District Court

The district court of Zhemgang, administering justice across the dzongkhag's eight gewogs. Located within Zhemgang Dzong, the court handles civil and criminal cases for one of Bhutan's most sparsely populated and geographically challenging districts. Given the remoteness of many communities, the court periodically conducts mobile judicial sessions in outlying gewogs to improve access to justice for rural residents.
