Yurung Primary School

A primary school located in Yurung gewog in the southern part of Pema Gatshel district. Serving a dispersed rural community of farming households, the school provides classes from pre-primary through class VI and is often the only formal educational institution accessible to children in this remote subtropical gewog. The school was established as part of Bhutan's nationwide push to achieve universal primary education.
