A primary school in the picturesque Ura Valley of Bumthang district, one of the highest inhabited valleys in Bhutan at approximately 3,100 meters elevation. The school serves the closely-knit Ura community, known for its distinctive dialect, annual Ura Yakchoe festival, and well-preserved traditional architecture. As one of the more remote primary schools in central Bhutan, it exemplifies the Royal Government's commitment to providing free education even in the most geographically challenging areas.
