Trongsa Hospital

The district hospital for Trongsa Dzongkhag, situated at the geographic heart of Bhutan near the historic Trongsa Dzong. Operating approximately 20 beds, it provides general medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, dental care, and emergency services to a catchment area of around 15,800 residents across five gewogs. Trongsa's position on the critical east-west highway means the hospital frequently handles road accident trauma cases. Specialist referrals are directed to the Central Regional Referral Hospital in Gelephu or JDWNRH in Thimphu.
