An ancient temple in Trong gewog, Zhemgang, believed to have been established during the early spread of Buddhism in south-central Bhutan. The lhakhang houses sacred relics and statues venerated by the Kheng community, and it serves as the spiritual center for surrounding villages. Annual religious festivals at the temple bring together communities from across the remote valleys of the Kheng region in celebrations that blend Buddhist ritual with pre-Buddhist animistic traditions.
