Trashigang Hospital

The district hospital for Trashigang Dzongkhag, eastern Bhutan's most populous district with over 51,000 residents across fifteen gewogs. With approximately 30 beds, it provides general medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, dental care, and emergency services. The hospital serves as a secondary referral point for eastern Bhutan, complementing the Eastern Regional Referral Hospital in Mongar. It also supports healthcare for the semi-nomadic Brokpa communities of Merak and Sakteng, among Bhutan's most culturally distinct populations.
