Trashi Yangtse Hospital

The district hospital serving Trashi Yangtse Dzongkhag in the far northeast of Bhutan, a district known for its artisan traditions and the sacred Chorten Kora stupa. With approximately 20 beds, it provides general medicine, maternal and child health, dental care, and emergency services to a catchment population of around 17,700 across eight gewogs. The hospital serves communities in the Kulong Chhu valley and coordinates referrals to the Eastern Regional Referral Hospital in Mongar for specialist care.
