Thimphu Long Distance Bus Terminal

The main bus terminal in the capital city, serving as the primary hub for Bhutan's public bus network connecting Thimphu to all major towns across the country. Operated by the Bhutan Post Bus (formerly Royal Government bus service), the terminal dispatches daily services to Phuentsholing (6 hours), Punakha (3 hours), Wangdue Phodrang (3.5 hours), Bumthang (10 hours), and other dzongkhag capitals. The terminal also serves as a departure point for private minibus operators running routes to eastern Bhutan.
