Simply Bhutan Museum

A living museum and cultural experience center in Thimphu that recreates traditional Bhutanese daily life through interactive exhibits, reconstructed farmhouses, and live demonstrations of traditional arts. Visitors can try their hand at archery (Bhutan's national sport), taste ara (traditional rice wine) and local snacks, watch weavers and painters at work, and explore a recreated traditional Bhutanese home. The museum is operated as a social enterprise that provides employment and training to disadvantaged youth in traditional arts.
