Shingkhar Central School

Located in Shingkhar village in Zhemgang district, this central school serves one of Bhutan's most isolated communities in the south-central interior. The village of Shingkhar, perched in the mountains, is the birthplace of the revered Bhutanese author and filmmaker Kunzang Choden.
