A leading higher secondary school in Bhutan's southwestern Samtse district, one of the most populous and ethnically diverse districts bordering India's West Bengal and Sikkim states. The school offers classes IX through XII and serves a large student body drawn from both Samtse town and surrounding gewogs. Its location in the subtropical lowlands at approximately 400 meters elevation gives it a distinct character compared to the highland schools of central and western Bhutan.
