Royal University of Bhutan

Bhutan's first and only national university, established by royal charter of King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. It operates as a federated system of 10 constituent colleges spread across the country, enrolling approximately 10,000 students in programs spanning engineering, education, natural resources, IT, traditional medicine, and management. The King of Bhutan serves as Chancellor, and the university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
