Royal Securities Exchange of Bhutan

Bhutan's sole stock exchange, established to mobilize domestic savings and channel investment into Bhutanese companies. The RSEBL lists approximately 20 companies including Bank of Bhutan, Bhutan National Bank, Bhutan Insurance Limited, RICBL, Dungsam Cement, and Bhutan Telecom. Trading occurs on a weekly schedule with relatively modest volumes reflecting Bhutan's small capital market, but the exchange plays an important role in corporate governance and financial transparency for the country's largest enterprises.
