Rigsum Namgyal Chorten

A prominent three-tiered chorten located along the road to Trashi Yangtse, representing the three bodhisattvas — Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri, and Vajrapani. Standing at a mountain pass near the Chorten Kora valley, this colorful stupa complex is a well-known landmark for travelers entering the district. The structure was built in the traditional Tibetan Buddhist architectural style and is often the first significant religious monument visitors encounter when approaching Trashi Yangtse from Trashigang.
