Punakha Higher Secondary School

A well-known higher secondary school in the Punakha Valley, Bhutan's former capital and the winter seat of the Central Monastic Body. The school offers classes IX to XII and draws students from Punakha and Gasa districts. Situated in the fertile Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu river valley at approximately 1,200 meters elevation, the school operates in one of Bhutan's most historic and agriculturally productive regions.
