Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag Administration

The district administration office of Pema Gatshel, headed by the Dzongda (district governor), responsible for coordinating civil governance, development planning, and public service delivery across the district's eleven gewogs. Established when Pema Gatshel was carved out of Samdrup Jongkhar as a separate dzongkhag in 1992, the office oversees education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure development in one of Bhutan's more remote southeastern districts.
