Panbang Basic Health Unit

The basic health unit in Panbang, the southernmost settlement in Zhemgang district and a gateway to Royal Manas National Park. Located at the confluence of the Mangde Chhu and Manas rivers near the Indian border, the BHU provides essential healthcare to the Panbang community and visiting researchers and park rangers. It handles tropical disease cases given the area's low-altitude subtropical climate.
