Dedicated to preserving and promoting Bhutan's extraordinary textile heritage, the museum displays a collection of historic and contemporary Bhutanese textiles including royal garments, ceremonial fabrics, and examples of all major weaving traditions from across the 20 dzongkhags. Bhutanese textiles are among the most complex handwoven fabrics in the world, with patterns carrying deep cultural and spiritual significance. The museum provides educational programs on spinning, dyeing with natural pigments, and weaving techniques unique to different regions of Bhutan.
