National Statistics Bureau

The central statistical authority of the Royal Government of Bhutan, responsible for collecting, compiling, analyzing, and disseminating official statistics. The NSB conducts the Population and Housing Census (most recently in 2017), publishes the annual Statistical Yearbook of Bhutan, compiles national accounts and GDP estimates, and calculates the Consumer Price Index. It also coordinates the biennial GNH Survey in partnership with the Centre for Bhutan Studies and GNH Research.
