Bhutan's premier institution for training in the thirteen traditional arts and crafts (Zorig Chusum), which include painting (lhazo), wood carving (parzo), sculpture (jinzo), embroidery (tshemdru), weaving (thagzo), and others. The institute offers four- to six-year diploma programs to preserve these ancient artistic traditions that are integral to Bhutanese cultural identity and are applied in temple construction, dzong restoration, and ritual object creation. Graduates are highly sought after for national heritage conservation projects and the production of traditional sacred art.
