Minjey Basic Health Unit

A Basic Health Unit in Minjey gewog of Lhuentse district, providing free primary healthcare services to one of the most remote communities in northeastern Bhutan. The BHU offers general outpatient care, maternal health services, immunization, and health education outreach. Minjey's isolation means the BHU serves as a critical first point of medical contact, with referrals to Lhuentse Hospital for complex cases and further referrals to the regional hospital in Mongar for specialist treatment.
