Lhuentse District Court

The district court of Lhuentse, serving as the court of first instance for civil and criminal matters in the dzongkhag. Operating under Bhutan's independent judiciary as established by the 2008 Constitution, the court handles disputes ranging from land and property cases to family law and criminal offences for residents of all eight gewogs. The court's remoteness presents logistical challenges, as some gewogs are accessible only by unpaved roads that become impassable during the monsoon season.
