A converted traditional farmhouse in the secluded Haa Valley, one of Bhutan's least-visited districts. The lodge offers simple but comfortable rooms in a centuries-old rammed-earth structure with a traditional bukhari stove for warmth. Guests can explore the valley's ancient temples, hike through pristine forests, and experience the culture of western Bhutan's most isolated inhabited valley. Haa was closed to foreign tourists until 2002, and the lodge provides a rare window into a community that has maintained centuries-old traditions.
