Khar Basic Health Unit

A Basic Health Unit serving the population of Khar gewog in Pema Gatshel district. As part of Bhutan's free primary healthcare network, the BHU provides outpatient consultation, maternal and child health services, immunization, family planning, and basic emergency care. It also conducts community health education and outreach to villages in this remote southeastern gewog where the nearest hospital is a difficult journey away.
