Directed by Khyentse Norbu, this experimental drama explores identity, ego, and liberation through a mysterious forest ritual where all participants don masks, erasing social distinctions of rank, gender, and age. The film premiered at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival in the Venice Days section, making it one of the few Bhutanese films to screen at a major European festival. Drawing deeply from Buddhist philosophy on the nature of the self, it is considered Khyentse Norbu's most artistically ambitious work.
