The district hospital serving Haa Dzongkhag, one of Bhutan's most remote western valleys bordering Tibet and the Indian state of Sikkim. With approximately 20 beds, it provides general medicine, maternal health, basic surgical services, dental care, and emergency treatment to a catchment population of around 13,600. Given Haa's relatively isolated location at over 2,700 meters elevation and its proximity to military installations along the border, the hospital also supports the Royal Bhutan Army's healthcare needs in the region.
