Gangzur Basic Health Unit

A Basic Health Unit in Gangzur gewog of Lhuentse district, one of eight gewogs in this remote northeastern dzongkhag. The BHU provides essential primary healthcare including outpatient treatment, maternal and child health services, immunization, and basic emergency care. Gangzur gewog is situated in mountainous terrain along tributaries of the Kuri Chhu, and the BHU serves scattered farming communities for whom travel to the district hospital involves hours of difficult mountain road travel.
