Duenmang Tshachu

A remote and revered natural hot spring in Zhemgang district, accessible after a half-day trek through subtropical forest along the Mangde Chhu river gorge. The springs offer multiple pools at varying temperatures, with mineral-rich waters traditionally believed to cure skin diseases, digestive problems, and chronic pain. Due to its remoteness, Duenmang Tshachu sees fewer tourists than western hot springs, preserving an authentic experience where Bhutanese pilgrims have bathed for centuries.
