Damphu Hospital

The district hospital for Tsirang Dzongkhag, located in the district capital of Damphu in southern Bhutan. Operating approximately 20 beds, it serves a catchment population of over 21,500 across twelve gewogs in one of Bhutan's smallest but most ethnically diverse districts. The hospital provides general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, dental care, and emergency services. Tsirang's subtropical climate contributes to a higher prevalence of vector-borne diseases, making the hospital's public health surveillance role particularly important.
