A constituent college of the Royal University of Bhutan located in Taktse, Trashigang, dedicated to preserving and promoting Bhutan's linguistic heritage and cultural traditions. The college offers bachelor's degrees in Dzongkha and cultural studies, training Dzongkha language teachers and cultural researchers. Formerly known as the Institute of Language and Cultural Studies, it was upgraded to a full degree-granting college and plays a critical role in the government's policy of promoting Dzongkha as the national language.
