Chhukha Hospital

The district hospital for Chhukha Dzongkhag, one of Bhutan's most economically significant districts due to the Chhukha and Tala hydropower projects. With approximately 25 beds, it provides general medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, dental care, and emergency services to a catchment population of over 74,000 across ten gewogs. While the larger Phuentsholing Hospital in the same district handles the bulk of border-town cases, Chhukha Hospital serves the highland communities and hydropower township workers in the upper Wang Chhu valley.
