Changlimithang Stadium

Bhutan's national stadium and primary multi-purpose sporting venue, located in central Thimphu with a seating capacity of approximately 25,000. The historic ground hosted the famous 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Bhutan and Montserrat (dubbed "The Other Final"), and serves as the home ground for the Bhutan national football team. The complex also includes an archery range where traditional Bhutanese archery competitions are held regularly, alongside the national sport of khuru (dart throwing). The site is historically significant as the location of the 1885 Battle of Changlimithang.
