Bartsham Central School

A central school located in Bartsham gewog in the western part of Trashi Yangtse district, providing education from pre-primary through class X. Bartsham is historically significant as the ancestral home of the Trongsa Penlop lineage and features one of the oldest lhakhangs in eastern Bhutan. The school serves a largely rural community engaged in rice cultivation and traditional weaving, and is known for its active extracurricular programs.
