Bhutan's largest and oldest commercial bank, originally established as a joint venture between the Royal Government and the State Bank of India. With branches in all 20 dzongkhags and over 30 offices nationwide, it offers retail and corporate banking, agricultural and commercial loans, foreign exchange, and remittances. The bank pioneered ATM and mobile banking in the country and plays a critical role in financial inclusion across Bhutan's largely rural population.
